VIRGINIA STATE VEHICLE INSPECTION
As the owner of a motor vehicle registered in Virginia, you are required, by law to pass a vehicle safety inspection once a year. Your vehicle needs to pass the inspection to be registered. The inspection procedure includes the scrutiny of each part of the vehicle to check for mechanical safety and reliability. When a vehicle passes a VA state safety inspection, the inspection station will place a safety inspection sticker on the windshield showing month and year in which the inspection will expire.

- LICENSE PLATE
- HOOD & AREA UNDERNEATH
- AIR POLLUTION CONTROL SYSTEM
- DRIVER’S SEAT
- FLOOR PAN
- VEHICLE DOORS
- FUEL SYSTEM
- AIRBAG & AIRBAG READINESS LIGHT
If all items are approved, an inspection sticker will be given. If any issues are observed, they must be corrected and reinspected within 15 days. If you do not pass your state inspection, we can make the necessary repairs and get you and your car back on the road.
